The Say No To Bullying Today Program
(designed for students in the 4 – 6 grade levels)
Plan A
Rotarians introduce the program to the school on one visit and work through the first chapter – a classroom period. They can leave the program with the school to complete over the academic school year.
Plan B
Rotarians bring the program to the school and participate in it for the six chapters during the school year – coming in and working with the students.
Plan C
Rotarians bring the program to the school, like dictionaries, give an overview and leave the school the responsibility of implementation.
*Cost of the Say No To Bullying Today Program – $3.50 per student workbook and $7.00 per teacher lesson plan. Classroom package includes 34 student workbooks and 2 teacher lesson plans for $130.00 plus shipping.
The Call Me Yubbie School Read
(designed for students in the 7-8 grade levels)
Plan A
Rotarians bring the book to the school, like dictionaries, give an overview and leave the school the responsibility of implementation.
Plan B
Rotarians bring the book and read the first chapter leaving the school to follow through.
Plan C
Rotarians bring in the book and participate in a schedule of returning to the school to be involved with the students reading the book periodically. Rotarians taking an active part.
Plan D
Rotarians bring the book and launch the school read, ask the teachers to have students write essays after they read the book on “What character they identified with in the book”, go back to the school later in the year, read the essays and start a dialogue with the students.
*Cost of the Call Me Yubbie school read $6.50 per book plus shipping.
Joe The Biker Bullying Prevention Presentations (All Grades)
Your club can have Joe The Biker visit schools in your area and have him present his powerful message to helps students cope with bullying. The performance empowers students to stand up and tell an adult, unite as a community, understand it’s the bully who has the problem, intervene and discover their special talent. Presentations are designed by class groups – K-3, 4-6, 7-8 and High School.
*Cost of presentations $500.00 per presentation which includes giveaways and material.
E.G. An elementary school k-5 would have two presentations k-2 and 3-5 grades. Cost $1,000.00.
An elementary school k-8 would have three presentations k-2, 3-5 and 7-8 grades. Cost $1,500.00.
Arrangements and scheduling have to coordinated with the School and the Yubbie Foundation
Your club can decide the best approach for your community. It can be one or a combination of more than one program you can offer the schools.
