Louis VenutiLouis is a member of the Titusville Rotary Club, in Titusville, Florida and served as its President in 1993-94. He has been an active member of Rotary since 1985. Louis is no stranger to the workings of Rotary, having served as District Secretary 2001-02, Assistant District Governor on three different occasions, and as Co-Chair of the District 6930 District Convention. He has been the Titusville Noon Club Treasurer for fifteen years. He served in the United States Army from December 1958 and was honorably discharged in November of 1966. Louis attended Queens College and Marist College where he majored in Accounting. He began his accounting career with America Home Products Corporation in New York City in 1965. Sportswear Company, a children's clothing manufacturer located in Ellenville, New York. In 1971, Louis jointly purchased a designer clothing manufacturing business and acted as Business Director. In 1980, he entered into the retail food market as owner of an upstate New York full-service bakery and delicatessen. Drawing from that experience, in 1982 he designed and built Lakeside Mini-Mart, a convenience grocery store. Throughout his years as an entrepreneur, Louis maintained a part time Accounting/Tax Preparation Business. He returned to full time accounting in 1985 and established L & L Accounting with his wife Loretta to whom he has been married for forty-seven years. They have three children and five grandchildren. |
